Well! The move back to Chicago is well under way. I leave in the car with the dog bright and early tomorrow morning, so I should be back by Wednesday evening. I am feeling a mixture of excitement and trepidation about returning to school. I started feeling like I should be in school over a month ago, and I'm excited for my new old apartment and for the drove of interesting classes I'll be taking this quarter, and of course to see my friends again. At the same time, though, I'm feeling reluctant to do anything but photography just now. I'm also feeling very reluctant to leave home again. Growing up, I never gave moving home after college a second thought. It was absolutely out of the question. Now, though, every time I'm home I love it more, and every time I leave I wonder why. I want to travel the world, go everywhere, see everything there is to see, but there will never be any place that comforts and delights like home. Especially my home. Colorado is absolutely, perfectly unbeatable.
On another note, I haven't had too much time in the last week to put into finishing the website, but I have been working closely with a designer friend on getting a working logo put together. Her name is Jasmine Fitzwilliam, and you can find her at her website/blog here. I'm very excited for the finished product, she is completely brilliant! I highly recommend her for any of your design needs.
